Pittsburgh, PA – East Liberty-based Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force (PATF) announces employee additions to staff the new medical clinic and strengthen client services.

Stacey Edick, MPAS, PA-C, joins PATF as Physician Assistant and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinic and providing care for patients. Edick brings over eight years of experience in HIV treatment and research to this roll. Most recently, Edick worked in HIV biomedical prevention research with at focus on rectal mircobicides at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to that, she provided HIV-specialty and primary care for individuals living with HIV at the Pittsburgh AIDS Treatment Center at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University. She lives in Highland Park.

Mike Good was hired as Grant Specialist to strengthen the organization’s fundraising capabilities. Good previously served as Stewardship Coordinator at Allegheny Land Trust and completed two terms of AmeriCorps service through Public Allies Pittsburgh. He holds a Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing from Hollins University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the Founder of After Happy Hour Review and Hour After Happy Hour Writing Workshop in Pittsburgh. He lives in East Liberty.

Tyra Gaines joins PATF as Medical Assistant, responsible for assisting the Medical Director and Physician Assistant in caring for patients. She brings prior experience from the allergy office at Allegheny General Hospital and holds a Medical Assistant Certificate from Everest Institute. She lives in Wilkinsburg.

Qian Zhu Hayden was hired as Medical Case Manager, assisting clients in Allegheny County. Prior to joining PATF, Hayden was a Case Manager at the South Hills Interfaith Movement, Program Coordinator at the YMCA and a Senior Program Manager at China Social Entrepreneur Foundation, where she was awarded the opportunity to represent China in the Global Volunteer Program Management Training Program in the Philippines. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Women’s College of China and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition to her work at PATF, she volunteers as the Communications Director at Chinese Cultural Center. She lives in Baldwin.

Morgan Jordan also joins PATF as Medical Case Manager, assisting clients in Allegheny County. She previously worked as a Therapeutic Staff Support for Cen Clear, In. in Phillipsburg, PA, as well as a Family Preservations Specialist for Every Child, Inc. in Pittsburgh. Jordon holds a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies from Penn State University. She lives in Highland Park.

Leah Paris was hired as Medical Secretary, the first point of contact for patients in scheduling appointments, answering questions about the clinic, and handling insurance billing. Paris has previously worked as a lab technician in medical research and has worked a various types of medical offices. She holds a Phlebotomy Certificate from CCAC and currently lives in North Huntingdon.

Mon, Tues, Thu: Noon-4:00 p.m.
Wed: 3:00-7:00 p.m.

 

The food pantry is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.

 

*Clients may use the food pantry once per month; Clients who are overdue for their 90-day updates will not be able to use the Food Pantry on Wednesday after 4 p.m., or on Sundays
