Case managers are happy to refer individuals to transportation programs and to assist with the application process. Transportation funds are used to purchase bus tickets, taxi rides, or wheelchair-van trips.
The PATF Food Pantry is open on Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. Weekday hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, noon – 4 p.m., and Wednesday, 3 – 7 p.m.* Clients are able to use the food pantry once per month.
A variety of foods and personalized customer service are the hallmarks of PATF’s Food Pantry. If you are living with HIV/AIDS, you can choose from a selection of meat, cheese, produce, and canned goods. Nutritional supplements and personal care items are also provided when available. Case managers also deliver groceries to rural areas and to people who are too ill to visit the pantry.
*Clients who are overdue for their 90-day updates will not be able to use the Food Pantry on Wednesday after 4 p.m.
PATF’s Pro Bono Legal Committee responds to the legal and advocacy needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. If you have a specific legal need, volunteer attorneys offer practical, HIV-specific legal services for people struggling with discrimination, housing, wills/living wills, power of attorney, social security appeals, bankruptcy, and HIV confidentiality.
